Le Mousseux, a gourmet Virginia effervescent Apple Cider from La Provençale Cellars, is the natural, unfermented juice of a hand-selected blend of apples. The apples grow in the northwest part of the Commonwealth—Virginia’s apple country. The secret cuvee, a blend of several apple varieties chosen for flavor, acidity and aroma, includes Macintosh for sweet fruit flavor, Jonathan for aromatic intensity, and Granny Smith for high acidity. Le Mousseux, a Gourmet Virginia Sparkling Apple Cider, roughly translates as The Bubbles.
La Provencale Apple Grilling Glaze is not too sweet nor too vinegarized. It is perfect as a plate dressing in a simply prepared dinner, such as a covering for sautéed chicken breast. Youngsters can top their chicken nuggets with Grilling Glaze. You can mix it with breadcrumbs and whole cranberries for a stuffing or to paint a fresh ham before baking. It makes baby back ribs delicious and is superb on a pork sandwich. Try with any cut of pork, poultry, lamb, venison, or add to duckling or salmon for great flavoring.
